Allison Dicus Thompson is an accomplished litigation attorney with nearly two decades of experience representing clients in complex legal matters. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy and adversary proceedings, commercial litigation, and business disputes, with a particular emphasis on representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers.
In addition to her litigation practice, Allison is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Certified Bankruptcy Mortgage Modification Mediator. Her extensive courtroom experience gives her a unique perspective and strategic insight into dispute resolution. She is known for her creative, solution-oriented approach and ability to navigate even the most challenging cases toward resolution. Allison serves on mediation panels throughout the state of Florida, including the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Allison earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2006 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida, awarded in 2003. She is admitted to practice in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and is a member of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.
A Tampa native, Allison is actively involved in her community. She is a Girl Scout troop leader, a dedicated school volunteer, and a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters—most often cheering from the sidelines of their many sporting events.
